Salem Airport
Salem Airport (IATA Code: SXV) is a domestic airport and the 5th largest airport in Tamil Nadu. This airport is located at Kamalapuram in Omalur taluk. Salem Airport was opened in 1993. The airport is only about 14 km away from the Salem Junction railway station. Basic facilities such as Baggage facilities, Duty-free shops, Restaurants, etc. are available on the premises of the Airport. The Salem airport is spread over a land area of 136 acres.

Puducherry Airport
Opened in 1989, the Puducherry Airport is a domestic airport located in Lawspet. Initially, this airport was operating for local flying training schools; however, in 2007, this airport started accommodating larger aircraft. From August 2017 under the UDAN Scheme, the airport started daily flights to Hyderabad and Bengaluru. SpiceJet is the airline currently serving the Hyderabad and Bengaluru destinations.
